OUR HIGHLIGHTS AT AMB 2024

“Gewinden 4.1” Tap Milling Multitool

Our “Gewinden 4.1” (Threading 4.1) represents a significant leap in threading technology. This multifunctional tool allows for core hole drilling, chamfering, and thread cutting - all without the need for tool changes. 

The innovative system integrates a sophisticated combination tool and advanced technology within the tool holder, making traditional tool changes and tool paths obsolete. The tool’s unique geometry and holding system enable up to 50 % time savings in thread production, ensuring efficiency and precision. “Gewinden 4.1” is nominated for the AMB 2024 Innovation Award.

Stator Housing Tool

Kyocera’s new stator housing tool is engineered with an innovative lightweight design, significantly reducing machine power requirements. This tool is compatible with HSK A63 tool holders and integrates seamlessly into existing production lines without costly upgrades.

Optimized for thin-wall machining, it guarantees high accuracy, perfect roundness, and excellent surface quality, making it ideal for EV stator housing machining. The tool’s AM cutting arms feature through-coolant channels for superior chip removal and extended tool life, ensuring enhanced performance and reduced downtime.

Additionally, it machines two large diameters in a single operation, ensuring perfect concentricity and alignment.

Vending Machine DC1700

The DC1700 modernizes traditional drawer-based vending machines with adjustable bin dividers and flexible software, allowing configuration of up to 1,792 locations. With up to 14 drawers and a maximum load capacity of 100 kg each, the machine features a durable 21” touch screen, built-in RFID reader, barcode, and QR code scanner.

The web-based management software enables off-site control, integration with ERP systems, as well as automatic generation of reports and purchase orders. It offers comprehensive inventory management, monitoring, and user access control.

Electric Inserts Driver

Kyocera’s Electric Inserts Driver combines electric power with manual torque control, simplifying the process of changing inserts, even inside the machine. It significantly reduces insert change time, with a 48% time saving compared to manual tools.

The tool features a torque range of 1–5 Nm, an easy-grip handle, one-touch bit holder, LED light, USB-C charging with approximately 400 operations per charge, as well as an attachable strap for safety handling.
